Kiloannum Orbit 33, Peril beyond Sonaru Part 2

The truth comes out as Tiffany learns about the darkness that looms in her future. Things will never be the same between Auña and Argos. The thing about a gift from an angel is that all the angels fell long ago. I am nothing more than a plaything. A toy for bored royals. I shall never see my family, even if I wish for death it can no longer come. To prey upon the dying and desperate, I must hide my disgust daily. I shall take my time to figure out how to fix this. After all, I'm now Family. Kiloannum Orbit 32, Peril beyond Sonaru Part 1

Tiffany wins! But is that good news? Returning to the safety of the community, at least what remains. As disperse, assimilate, and leave altogether. Crawling towards the oasis left behind from last nights storm, I was certain I was already dead from the constant bleeding. After watching my village get slaughtered I had resigned myself to join them yet my will to survive pushed me forward, to escape. I do not know if I laid there for an hour or a week, the bloodloss left that period in a haze, I was approached by an angel - a feeling, a promise. If I let go, I would survive. Contradictory, but given how weak I felt it was convincing. While it would appear to be an obvious trick, it wasn't. I write this now, fully healed and unsure how I am alive. And not just alive, but strong, healthy, powerful.
