[…] So this whole idea of a return to correspondence... just was so, how shall I say it, so ingrained in my heart and in my mind last year. I actually read in the advice column in Real Simple Magazine about someone, they were talking about thank you letters. And I was really surprised at the etiquette expert's response that it wasn't a big deal, that so-and-so didn't receive a thank you from someone that they had given quite a generous gift to. And I mean, they didn't even receive a text. Nothing, nada. And it started to... It started to make me think about the simple act of sitting down and writing a letter, which takes a few minutes, popping it in the mail, and just that little moment of intention goes so far for people when they receive the letter.
