However, the Knights' fourth consecutive loss dropped them to 3-4 on the season, and Coach Malzahn stressed the need for improvement, especially in the passing game.

UCF Knights vs. Florida Gators - A Tough Loss and Key Takeaways

In this episode, Pegasus and Citronaut break down the UCF Knights’ tough 24-13 loss against the Florida Gators. The game exposed several issues for UCF, particularly their struggles in the red zone and a lackluster rushing attack. Florida, with a defense previously ranked 110th against the run, surprisingly dominated, sacking UCF quarterback KJ Jefferson five times and limiting UCF to just 108 rushing yards. For Florida, this victory was a boost for head coach Billy Napier, who had been under scrutiny but saw no player opt-outs, signaling team cohesion.
