Welcome to the very first episode of the Chasing Dragonflies podcast! Friends, this is not a podcast about insects. Instead, the title comes from the word picture of observing my 2 Labrador Retrievers chasing dragonflies in my Texas backyard in the middle of the summer heat. These dogs grunt, groan, whine, and dance. They run, jump, leap, and reach with all their might to secure a dragonfly feast but have yet to conquer their mission- even at times accidently landing in the swimming pool. It reminds me of all the striving we do as mothers and as humans to achieve things we are perpetually outmatched for. In all the things we chase, it is God who is chasing us. This podcast is designed to encourage, uplift, and come alongside moms at all of the places of the journey.
