About Chats with Jesus

Welcome to the Chats with Jesus Podcast! Throughout these episodes, you will get to know Kara and how this poetic journey started. The goal of every episode is to remind us that Jesus is not only with us all of the time, but he also wants to chat with us... all of the time. This world that we live in is wild, crazy and quick but that doesn't mean that we have to live our lives wildly, crazily and quickly. Join Kara for some casual chats about how to chat with Jesus. Through scripture, poetry and practice, Kara will challenge the messages of this world with God's message to us. Life isn't easy but it sure can be simpler than we make it. God knows how to do simple...we just need to take to the pages in His book to know how. A note from Kara: "My prayer before every episode recording is that anything that I say that is from the Lord will take deep root in you and anything that is not from Him or that I get wrong, that it will be forgotten. I pray that only God will get glory and credit for anything noteworthy or impactful that I say (because it is all from Him, not me!). If you laugh during an episode, it is because the Creator of the universe has a sense of humor. If you feel convicted during an episode, it is because our Heavenly Father loves us enough to refine us. If you feel peace during an episode, it is because He promises to give that to us. Remember, God is good, Jesus is near, and the Holy Spirit is our greatest Advocate." For more information about Kara, visit www.625therapy.com and follow on Instagram @625therapy.

Season 2 Finale- "Whose attention do you have?"

I saw many on their journeys. Some with Jesus and some without. I saw angels and demons fighting and some demons lurking about. I wondered why some had swarms of demons trying to get them and others only a few. Jesus grinned and said, “Those swarms of demons are terrified of what that person can do.” I noticed that only the people with Jesus had swarms flying around. A few others without Jesus, just held a demon’s hand and it was sound. I realized that the hand that you choose to hold, will dictate a lot. I would rather hold Jesus’s hand and have swarms of demons, than not.

   Season 2 Episode #10- Apply it...Making decisions

What if the weight of our decisions are less about the potential impact of the decision...and more about the enemy creating weight? What if the armor of God is designed to lighten our load and to be able to see God's plans for us more clearly?

   Season 2 Episode #9- Apply it....Money

Worrying about money is not uncommon in the world we live in. Contrary to what our minds tell us... it actually doesn't matter what the balance is in your bank account, you can still find yourself worrying about money. Unless... we take the time to use the Armor of God. See, financial worry isn't actually about the money... it's about something deeper... it may actually be more of a spiritual battle than a money battle.
