Host and cartoon enthusiast BDubs unfolds the checkered past of Classic Cartoon Network spanning the 1990s and early 2000s through a podcast curated for those who can't get enough of their childhood TV-related memories. Each week, we examine, unearth, and celebrate all the special shows and memorable moments making up each square so we can better understand and appreciate the deep value this then-unique cable TV channel offered to us throughout the its history. Maybe, just maybe, you'll learn about something you didn't originally see on Cartoon Network too.
Hope you brought your popcorn and remote control, because we're taking a trip back to the year that put Cartoon Network on the Map: 1994!
In today's final episode of Checkered Childhood, you'll embark on a far-out journey with BDubs and a couple of his best friends. Together, we'll enter our trusty time machine for a third time to explore one of the most pivotal years of his entire childhood. We'll bask in the sights and sounds of the most popular Pop Culture keystones while we're here, along with catching up on then-new shows, marathons, contests, and some key building blocks laid so Cartoon Network can make mountainous waves of original content the subsequent year.
Oh yeah, we'll rub elbows with a ghost host with the most, too. Nothing special.
