We are a family of believers seeking to know and grow in Jesus Christ and in our relationships with one another. Here at Chicago West, Jesus is the main attraction. Not the pastor, the worship team, or anyone else. We are here to see, savor, and rejoice in Jesus Christ alone! Join us as we pursue him with our whole hearts in an authentic, transparent, and loving community. I'm so glad you're here! Don't walk this life alone. Let's walk together."
Will you follow Jesus when obedience makes life harder? In this sermon, Pastor Jon explores Acts 21:1–36 to show what it means to follow Jesus when it costs us our comfort, our preferences, and the approval of others.

The True Gospel, Part 2
Acts 20 declares and shows what living out the true gospel is meant to be for those who have received God’s gift of grace. We have in Christ what nothing in this world can compare! Paul’s life demonstrates how we can now hold onto all that we have as “an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” The true gospel and all His disciples are also under attack, so we must be vigilant and seek the Lord’s provision and protection. Outline:The true Gospel generates strong Christ-centered community. (v25-27, 36-38) The true Gospel and Jesus’s disciples are under attack.
