Podcast Overview

After his divorce, a writer takes to an isolated beach shack and hires a different call girl every month. Soon deep in the cliché of falling in love with one of them, he begins a private journal to examine the whole 'woman as sex/love-object' norm. As his year of sexual freedom unfolds, and other girls come and go, he sees his new obsession - that one girl who comes back again and again - more and more clearly. Twelve months later he emerges from the whole experience with a renewed take on the business of lust, the nature of love and the carnal road to spirituality. This is a true story, read twenty years after the events by the author from his diary at the time. It's a no-filter memoir about a man with a little money, and no strings attached: a man who sought the dark side only to find enlightenment.
