YOU DON'T NEED MORE LEADS!!! You Probably Need More Conversations. And Lord knows you probably don't need another networking event where everybody walks around saying: “So... what do YOU do?”
YOU DON'T NEED MORE LEADS
You Probably Need More Conversations
What if your next client isn't hiding inside another funnel?
What if they're not waiting inside a Facebook ad, cold-lead list, networking mixer, or some shiny new marketing strategy?
What if your next customer, referral, strategic partner, speaking opportunity, or introduction is already...
IN. YOUR. PHONE. 📱
In this episode of Something to Smile About Small Business Saturday, JohnnyJuan challenges one of the most common assumptions entrepreneurs make:
“I need more leads.”
Maybe you do.
But before spending more money finding strangers, there's another question worth answering:
What are you doing with the relationships you already have?
Think about it.
Your phone contacts.
Your CRM.
Facebook friends.
LinkedIn connections.
Past customers.
Former prospects.
Referral partners.
People you've met at conferences.
Former coworkers.
Networking relationships.
People from your community.
People you've helped.
People who've helped you.
There may already be hundreds, even thousands, of relationships around you.
But when was the last time you intentionally started a meaningful conversation with them?
That's where today's episode begins.
📱 CONTACTS AREN'T RELATIONSHIPS
Having 2,000 contacts doesn't mean you have 2,000 relationships.
And collecting business cards, LinkedIn connections, followers, or CRM records isn't the same thing as building relational equity.
That's why JohnnyJuan asks a different question:
How many of the people you already know have you had a meaningful conversation with in the last 90 days?
Because some of the biggest opportunities in our careers don't begin with a marketing campaign.
They begin with a person saying:
“You need to meet ______.”
Six words.
One introduction.
One conversation.
And potentially an entirely different trajectory.
That's the Power of WHO.
Instead of constantly asking:
“WHAT should I do next?”
perhaps we should occasionally ask:
“WHO should I talk to next?”
🤝 STOP NETWORKING LIKE EVERYBODY IS A PROSPECT
This isn't about scrolling through your contacts looking for wallets.
And it definitely isn't about sending 500 people the same:
"Hey! Hope you're doing well! Know anybody who needs what I sell?" 😂
That's not relationship-building.
That's prospecting with a smiley face attached.
Instead, try asking:
Who can I help?
Who can I reconnect with?
Who can I introduce to someone?
Who needs encouragement?
Who has a problem I might be able to help solve?
Who knows someone I should meet?
And maybe the uncomfortable one:
Who have I simply failed to follow up with?
💰 THE FORTUNE ISN'T JUST IN THE FOLLOW-UP
We've all heard:
“The fortune is in the follow-up.”
JohnnyJuan offers a different version:
The RELATIONSHIP is in the follow-up.
And relationships can create opportunities.
Not every conversation should become a sale.
Not every relationship should be monetized.
The goal isn't to turn your friends into ATMs. 😂
The goal is to become more intentional about:
Serving. Listening. Connecting. Introducing. Following up. Asking better questions.
And when there's genuine alignment...
having enough courage to ask for the business.
🔥 YOUR CHALLENGE: 25 → 5 → 1
Don't simply listen to this episode.
Do something.
STEP 1: FIND YOUR 25
Open your phone and identify 25 relationships worth reconnecting with.
Not necessarily prospects.
People.
Past clients.
Old prospects.
Referral partners.
People you've served.
People who know the kinds of people you serve.
People you've lost touch with.
STEP 2: FIND YOUR 5 WHO'S
From those 25, identify five people where one meaningful conversation could create movement.
Not necessarily a sale.
Maybe an introduction.
An idea.
A collaboration.
A referral.
Or simply a renewed relationship.
STEP 3: CONTACT ONE TODAY
Not tomorrow.
Not Monday.
Not when your new CRM is finished.
TODAY.
And don't pitch them.
Try something human:
“Hey, you crossed my mind today. It's been too long. What are you working on right now that you're excited about?”
Then do something revolutionary...
LISTEN. 👂😂
🚨 AND THAT'S WHY WE'RE TESTING SOMETHING NEW
After years of sales, lending, entrepreneurship, speaking, coaching, networking, relationship-building, the Power of WHO, Networking Made FUN, the 8 C's, and everything we've recently discovered through Kingdom Influence, JohnnyJuan realized something:
We already have the pieces.
Now we're putting them together in one room.
Introducing a small Founding Workshop:
📱 WHO'S IN YOUR PHONE?™
Turn the relationships you already have into your next business conversations.
This will be a 2-hour LIVE implementation workshop limited to just 12 Founding participants.
And this isn't another webinar where you listen to JohnnyJuan talk for two hours while secretly answering emails and folding laundry. 😂
We're going to WORK.
Together we'll begin identifying:
📱 Your highest-potential existing relationships🤝 Your most important WHO's💬 Natural reconnection conversations🔗 Referral and introduction opportunities🗓️ Your personal 30-Day Pipeline Plan
And the goal is to begin taking action before the workshop ends.
We don't want you leaving saying:
“That was inspiring.”
We'd much rather hear:
“I've got conversations happening.”
💵 YES, THIS ONE IS PAID
JohnnyJuan has given away a LOT of training, resources, workshops, podcast episodes, coaching ideas, and tools over the years.
And that's not stopping.
But this room is different.
We're not looking for 100 people who register for another free webinar.
We're looking for:
12 people ready to WORK.
The Founding Workshop investment is:
$97
Two hours.
Twelve Founding Seats.
One simple mission:
Turn the relationships you already have into meaningful business conversations.
And because this is the Founding group, participants will also help shape what this experience becomes.
📲 WANT ONE OF THE 12 FOUNDING SEATS?
Don't go hunting for a registration page.
There isn't some giant complicated funnel waiting for you. 😂
Instead:
DM JohnnyJuan the word PHONE 📱
Before sending you the details, he's going to ask you one question:
What's the biggest challenge you're having right now with consistently generating new business conversations?
Because this workshop isn't being built around what we think entrepreneurs need.
We're listening first.
Your answers will help shape the room.
And if you're not ready for the workshop?
Start with today's free challenge:
25 → 5 → 1
Find 25 relationships.
Identify your 5 WHO's.
Contact ONE today.
Then ask yourself:
What could happen to my business if I became intentional about doing this for the next 30 days?
Maybe you don't need more leads.
Maybe you need more conversations.
And maybe your next opportunity is already sitting...
IN YOUR PHONE. 📱🔥
Remember...
Don't just build a business... build the person God can trust to lead it.
Until next time...
keep smiling, keep serving, keep growing... and keep living the FuNLiFe.
And THAT, Cool Kids...
is Something to Smile About.
