Choosing Woo is a podcast exploring what it means to live with greater awareness, connection, and intention in an increasingly overwhelming world. Through honest conversations with thought-provoking guests and grounded reflections, we explore the intersection of science, embodiment, spirituality, nervous system regulation, and the beautifully messy experience of being human.
The choosing woo podcast is definitely not about having everything figured out or claiming anyone has the answers, it's actually a space to get curious, learn new things, maybe have some ah-ha moments.
S2 E29 - The Final Chapter (For Now): My nursing journey & podcast Story
In the last episode, I got to interview my partner Wil Thomas.
In this episode, the tables have turned and he interviews me... why, you ask?Well, it feels sad to be saying this, but this is the final episode of the choosing woo podcast... for now.
This episode was really beautiful as wil helps me to reflect on the 79 episodes and 43 guest interviews. He invites me to talk about my own journey over the past 3 and a half years (from letting go of nursing to then coming full circle and returning, to creating this podcast and everything in between) and I share some really funny (and slightly inappropriate) stories from my nursing career.
As I said in the episode, a huge thank you to all of the guests who took the time to be on the podcast and share their stories, a massive thank you too all listeners and people who will continue to tune in too.
This is me saying remember to keep choosing yourself and in doing so you keep opening yourself up to lifes magic. Thank you, Rachel x
The podcast will remain open for continued listening, please leave comments below of your thoughts on the book title and if you'd love to stay in touch or experience breathwork or the womens circle, you can find me below:

Realising that his perceived failures were actually just great lessons
Doing the inner work on himself and becoming part of an amazing community
Learning that it's OK to be a weirdo and that authenticity attracts the right people in life

S2 E27 - Family constellations & Unnecessary trauma w/ Linda Conyard
I am so grateful for having the opportunity to have a great chat to the amazing Linda-Maree Conyard, we chatted about family constellations, her experience with unnecessary trauma in the health care system and subsequently her book that she has written about UNnecessary trauma, it is a fascinating conversation that I highly recommend listening to!
A little bit about Linda:
As one of Australia's leading pioneers advocating for socio-political trauma-sensitive change and informed responsiveness to UNnecessary trauma in the Health, Education, Justice and Government sectors, Linda recognises the transgenerational effect collective trauma has on our current society and this work is at the leading edge of healing and transformation.
She guides women toward embracing Freedom in all areas of their lives by showing them how to equip themselves to recognise, process and integrate experiences of UNnecessary trauma which are enslaving them in a life of repeating patterns stemming from unresolved trauma. We stop the unhealed past from hijacking the present.
Linda is a Gestalt therapist, family constellation facilitator, trauma recovery specialist, author, rational theorist and facilitator of collective healing.
