Tools~ You Already Have What You Need
In this real, unedited episode, Jarkeshia shares a message that came to her mid-deep-clean: the stubborn spot she couldn't clean, the tool she already owned, and what it taught her about chasing resources instead of using what's already in her hands. A raw, faith-centered conversation on identity, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and trusting that God has already equipped you for what He's called you to do. Am I Sufficient? By Yourself, No but with God Yes
Are you sufficient on your own? This episode asks that question honestly and answers it with Scripture rather than self-help. The message is simple: by yourself, no, you are not sufficient, but with God, yes, you are. Drawing from 2 Corinthians, this episode walks through what it looks like to stop leaning on yourself and start bringing God into every weakness, hardship, and decision, not just emergencies. True sufficiency is not self-made. Our competence comes from God, not from our own effort or willpower. Weakness is not something to hide; it is where God's power shows up. When we are weak, we are made strong through Him. "I" language is a warning sign. Watch for how often we say "I can," "I will," "I'm going to" without ever asking God what He wants. Don't wait for a crisis to talk to God. Many of us only run to Him when we're already in trouble. He wants to walk with us before, during, and after. Shortcuts usually cost more than they save. Trying to do things in our own strength often leads to deeper holes. God's way may be slower, but it holds. Delayed obedience is still a struggle worth naming. Stepping up when God calls, without delay, is where the real reward is found. Scriptures Referenced2 Corinthians 12:9–10 (NIV) — "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness..." 2 Corinthians 3:5 (NIV) — "Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God." Reflection question: Do you only run to God when you're already in trouble, or do you walk with Him before the hardship hits? Get Ready, Stay Ready, Are You Ready
Whether you're new to faith or have been walking this road for a while, this episode is a gentle nudge to pause, reflect, and take that next step today. In this heartfelt episode, Jarkeshia sits down to share a message that's been on her heart, inspired by Mark 13:33. The core message challenges listeners to ask themselves: If Jesus came back today, would you truly be ready? Jarkeshia draws on scripture and church songs from her upbringing to illustrate that readiness is not about perfection; it is about coming to God with a repentant heart. Key points: Knowingly sinning and relying on later forgiveness isn't true readiness Self-talk matters (speaking negatively about yourself is speaking against God's child) Identity in Christ (your identity isn't in titles or accomplishments) Daily self-evaluation (pausing to ask, "Would God be pleased with my actions, words, and choices?") Sharing your faith without shame or legalism — letting your light draw others to Jesus Being doers of the Word, not just hearers, pursuing a real relationship with Christ, not just religion The ChOP Movement (https://www.skool.com/chop-check-on-your-people-8436/about) The Encouragement Sisterhood (https://eencouragementsisterhood.lovable.app)

Identity: Loss
In this heartfelt and deeply personal episode, Jarkeshia opens up about one of the most profound questions we face in seasons of loss: Who am I when everything I identified with is gone? She introduces the concept of identity loss: what happens to our sense of self when the titles, roles, relationships, and circumstances that defined us are suddenly stripped away. Through it all, she reflects on how loss can disorient us, making us question our purpose and worth, but also how it can rebirth the gifts and calling God placed within us. Key Takeaways Your identity is in Christ, not in your title, status, or circumstances It's okay to grieve multiple kinds of loss: jobs, loved ones, relationships, vehicles, roles You can feel surrounded by community and still feel alone, and that's valid God is always present, even in our loneliest seasons Obedience in your season looks like showing up with what you have right now Scriptures Referenced 1 Peter 2:9 ~"You are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession" Ephesians 2:10 ~"We are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works" Philippians 1:6 ~"He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion" Website: www.chopwithjam.com (www.chopwithjam.com) Email: jarkeshia@chopwithjam.com IG: @chopwithjam (https://www.instagram.com/chopwithjam)

Update Episode Part 2: You Are Qualified-Showing Up Authentically In The Midst of It All
Have you ever felt disqualified? Like you know, there's something God has placed inside of you, but you keep talking yourself out of stepping into it? In this raw and transparent episode, Jarkeshia gets real about the moments she's questioned her calling: battling feelings of being a hypocrite, grieving the loss of her husband, and wondering if she's even the right person to show up. The message is clear: you don't have to be perfect, polished, or fully healed to be used. Key Takeaway: You don't need all the degrees, certifications, or a polished brand to do what God called you to do. This Is Your Moment — Move Now
Feeling stuck or hesitant to take your next step? This episode of ChOP is your holy nudge to move forward. If God is stirring something in you, this is the reminder that delayed obedience is still disobedience — and now is the time. 💛 Episode Summary In this powerful and time-sensitive word, the host invites listeners to confront what they’ve been putting off — the dream, the decision, the healing. This isn’t about hustle or pressure — it’s about holy urgency. When God says move, we don’t need every detail, we just need to trust the direction. This episode is especially for the woman who has been waiting for the “right moment” to obey. It's a reminder that delayed steps often cost more than we're willing to pay — and God is too faithful to leave you stuck. 🔑 Key Takeaways Obedience rarely comes with a perfect plan — just a faithful next step. Sometimes clarity comes after movement, not before. Delaying what God told you to do won’t make it easier — it just adds weight. Bold obedience activates divine alignment. If He said it, He’s already made a way. 🙏🏾 ChOP Reflection Question What has God been prompting you to do — and what would it look like to move in faith today instead of waiting for perfect conditions? This is for the woman who shows up for everyone else but needs a reason to keep showing up for herself. 🔑 Key Takeaways Even when you feel broken, God can still shine through you. Darkness doesn’t disqualify you — it deepens your dependence. Your light is your witness, and the enemy will always try to dim what God has destined to shine. You have the right to rest, recharge, and reignite. When the Vision Breaks but Faith Remains
Life doesn’t always go as planned — and sometimes, it hurts deeply when it doesn’t. In this CHOP episode, we explore what it means to grieve the life you imagined while leaning fully into the God who still has a purpose for your present. 💛 Episode Summary In this raw and restorative CHOP conversation, the host opens up about interrupted plans, spiritual warfare, and a season that demanded more surrender than she expected. Through the exhaustion of motherhood, the sting of missed dreams, and a near-tragic accident, she wrestles with gratitude and grief — and finds God’s presence in both. This episode is for the woman whose calendar doesn’t reflect her calling anymore, who feels like everything is on hold but knows deep down God is still doing something holy behind the scenes. This is not just a story of summer plans gone sideways — it's a testimony of awakening, spiritual authority, and the miracle of sisterhood in unexpected places. 🔑 Key Takeaways Grief isn’t just about death — it’s also about the loss of what could have been. God will use detours to develop your authority in the Spirit. Delays often lead to deeper encounters with God. You have the right to mourn missed plans while still praising through the pain. Grief doesn’t follow a script. In this episode of ChOP, a young widow opens her heart to share the weight of sudden loss, the fog that follows, and the slow journey of learning how to breathe again through faith, memory, and community. 💛 Episode Summary What happens when life shifts in an instant and nothing feels clear anymore? In this deeply transparent ChOP Preview, the host walks us through the heartbreaking reality of becoming a widow overnight — and the disorienting fog that follows. This is a sacred reflection on the moments after loss when you’re expected to keep going, but your heart is still catching up. It’s not a how-to on healing — it’s a soul-to-soul conversation about surviving the blur, clinging to faith, and letting God hold you when everything feels too heavy to carry. For anyone who’s ever felt like they’re living through a fog of grief, this episode reminds you: even if you can’t see the road ahead, God is still right there with you. 🔑 Key Takeaways The first year of grief often feels like walking through fog — and that’s okay. Loss redefines identity, but it doesn’t remove your calling. You don’t have to “bounce back” — you just have to breathe. Letting people in doesn’t weaken your witness; it strengthens your healing. Faith doesn’t erase the pain — it anchors you through it. 🙏🏾 ChOP Reflection Question Where in your life are you trying to move through the fog alone — and how can you invite God or someone else into that space? The Courage to Be Transparent
When you're used to being the strong one, transparency can feel like too much. In this episode of CHOP, we unpack the power of being real — with God, with others, and with yourself — and how honesty creates space for healing and connection. 💛 Episode Summary This ChOP Preview is a raw and relatable reflection on what it means to show up authentically — even when it’s uncomfortable. The host opens up about the wrestle between image and intimacy, and how choosing transparency has deepened her relationship with God and those around her. It’s a quiet permission slip for every woman who feels like she has to keep it all together: You don’t. And God can’t heal what you keep hidden. When you bring your full, unfiltered self to the table, transformation begins. 🔑 Key Takeaways Transparency isn’t weakness — it’s the birthplace of trust and truth. God doesn’t need your perfection; He desires your honesty. When you lead with vulnerability, you create a safe space for others to do the same. You can be strong and struggling at the same time. In a world that praises independence and perfection, it can feel weak to admit we’re struggling. But the truth? There’s strength in surrender. The host speaks vulnerably about the walls we build, the pride we protect, and the freedom that comes when we finally let others in — and let God hold what we can’t carry. This ChOP moment is a permission slip: You don’t have to keep pushing through alone. You’re not failing — you’re human. 🔑 Key Takeaways Asking for help is not a sign of weakness; it's a sign of wisdom. Sometimes we delay healing because we fear appearing needy.
