Everybody is thirsty. But what happens when the things we’re pursuing never truly satisfy us?
In Week 2 of CULTURE SHOCK: Living Kingdom in a Culture That Keeps Pulling Us Somewhere Else, we’re exploring the powerful encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4.
We live in a culture that encourages us to follow our desires, chase satisfaction, and pursue whatever promises happiness. But Jesus challenges us to look beyond temporary fulfillment and discover the living water that only He can provide.
In “Obey Your Thirst,” we’ll explore three life-changing truths:
Not every thirst should be obeyed.
The wrong well will keep you coming back.
Jesus doesn’t just satisfy thirst; He changes the source.
Your thirst isn’t necessarily the problem. What you’re using to satisfy it might be.
Join Chosen Vessel Church as we continue discovering what it means to live according to Kingdom values in a culture of competing voices.

I Don’t Fit Here Anymore | Culture Shock — Week 1
What happens when the things that once felt normal don’t feel normal anymore?
In Week 1 of CULTURE SHOCK: Living Kingdom in a Culture That Keeps Pulling Us Somewhere Else, we explore Paul’s challenge in Romans 12:1–2: Don’t conform. Be transformed.
Every day, we’re surrounded by voices attempting to shape what we value, desire, believe, and pursue. But following Jesus introduces us to another way of living—the culture of the Kingdom.
In “I Don’t Fit Here Anymore,” we’ll discover why spiritual transformation can make familiar environments feel different, why renewing your mind is essential to following Jesus, and how to live in culture without allowing culture to live in you.
Maybe the discomfort you’ve been feeling isn’t evidence that something is wrong.
Maybe you’re changing.

COMMUNITY: Common Unity — Week 4 | Better Together
What is community ultimately for?
In the final week of COMMUNITY: Common Unity, we explore Acts 2:42–47 and discover what happened when the early church moved beyond simply gathering together and began sharing life, meeting needs, serving others, and becoming a visible witness of Jesus to the world around them.
Biblical community requires participation. The gifts God has placed in us were never intended only for us. And when the church truly lives as one body, what happens among us can point people beyond us—to Christ.
This week, we’re moving from community to mission.
Don’t just go to church. Be the church.
Our common unity is greater than our uncommon differences.
