What In The World is Going On Pt 2 - Pastor Lonnie Johns
What if the very first words of Genesis were already pointing us toward the end of all things? That is exactly the kind of revelation we explore in this teaching, as we trace the breathtaking thread of God's redemptive plan from creation all the way through to the final chapters of Revelation. We look at how the sun and moon, placed in the heavens on the fourth day of creation, were not merely functional lights but were declared by God to be signs and witnesses of His covenant with humanity. The Hebrew word for signs carries layered meaning, painting a picture of an ox secured to a plow, pressing forward toward a marked destination. That image becomes a stunning prophetic portrait of Jesus Christ bearing the weight of humanity's sin and pressing toward Calvary, the place where God's covenant with us would be sealed in blood. We are reminded that God declared the end from the beginning, and that biblical prophecy is not designed to frighten us but to prepare us and build our faith. When we see these things unfolding in the world around us, we are meant to recognize them as confirmation that God is faithful, that His Word is true, and that the restoration of all things is drawing closer. This is a message that calls us to look at the world through the lens of Scripture and to anchor our hope in the unchanging purposes of God.

Connection Identity Purpose Production - Pastor Seth Shaw
What if everything we thought we knew about purpose was backwards? So many of us spend our lives chasing after the right job, the right title, the right accomplishment, believing that once we find what we are supposed to do, we will finally feel complete. But this message flips that thinking entirely upside down. Purpose is not what we do. It is who we are. And who we are is only fully discovered when we understand our identity in Christ. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 5:17, which tells us that anyone in Christ is a new creation with the old having passed away and all things becoming new, we are reminded that God does not do this work for us but in us. That distinction changes everything. We are not trying to earn our way into purpose through good deeds, church attendance, or spiritual performance. We are invited to recognize that a new life has already been created within us, and our daily calling is simply to abide in that reality. Connection to Christ is the root, and everything we produce in life is just the fruit of that connection. When we finally stop working for connection and start working from connection, the pressure lifts and purpose begins to flow naturally out of who we already are in him.
