The Art of Confrontation
Confrontation is never easy—but when it's done God's way, it can bring restoration instead of division.
In Part 2 of "Taming the Tongue," Pastor Rick McClain teaches "The Art of Confrontation," looking at the powerful encounter between Nathan and David in 2 Samuel 12:1–14. Biblical confrontation isn't about winning an argument or proving someone wrong; it's about caring enough for someone to speak truth with the goal of restoring godliness.
Through Nathan's example, we learn how to approach difficult conversations under God's leadership, speak truth when it needs to be spoken, and remain open when God uses someone else to confront us. David's response reminds us of the importance of recognizing our sin, confessing it, and allowing God to lead us back to Him.
