CCC Messages is the weekly podcast of Christ Community Church in Philadelphia, where we share the latest Sunday sermon from Lead Pastor Ernest Daniels Jr. and our teaching team. Our vision is to know God and reveal God, and our mission is to help people grow in Christ, live out their purpose, and carry God’s light and love into every area of life. Each message will encourage, equip, and challenge you to follow Jesus with boldness and maturity—so you can gather, be filled, and scatter to make Him known.
Our Pastor, Dr. Ernest Daniels Jr., brings Summer in the Psalms to a close on the final chapter of the book. We may not end every season with all the answers, but we should end every season with praise. All summer the Psalms have taught us how to bring our real lives before God — to trust Him, to wait on Him, to repent, to find our strength in Him — and they’ve shown us that faith never required us to pretend. You can love God and still have questions. You can trust God and still shed tears. But when we reach Psalm 150, the invitation is simple and it’s for everyone: let everything that has breath praise the Lord. After the tears, after the disappointment, after the victory and after the loss. An unfinished situation does not have to silence your praise.

Summer in the Psalms Part 7 - Help for the Journey
Our Pastor, Dr. Ernest Daniels Jr., continues Summer in the Psalms with Psalm 121, a song written while traveling, not after arriving. "I lift my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from?" He who keeps you will not slumber. The sun will not strike you by day nor the moon by night. It doesn't matter the season: there will never be a moment when God stops protecting, keeping, and providing for His children.

Summer in the Psalms Part 6 | Psalm 84
Maybe it was an unanswered prayer. Maybe you were mad at God. Whatever it was that brought you to His presence — let it keep you there. Our Pastor, Dr. Ernest Daniels Jr., continues Summer in the Psalms with Psalm 84: "One day in Your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere." Even the sparrow finds a home near His altar. The applause is not the prize — proximity is. Stay there until you develop an appetite for His presence, so that when you're away from it, you ache.
