   Small Enough to See

This 20‑minute Columban Way reflection weaves together Job 38 and Matthew 18 to reveal the liberating truth of spiritual smallness. Job’s silence before the whirlwind and Christ’s child in the midst teach us the same path: humility, trust, and the surrender of self‑importance. Discover how the Celtic tradition embraced this “little way” as the heart of pilgrimage and the doorway into divine light.

The Heart, the House, and the True Family of God

In this 20‑minute Columban Way reflection, we explore Proverbs 21:1–6, 10–13 and Luke 8:19–21, two passages that reveal how God weighs the heart, tests motives, and defines true belonging in His Kingdom. Proverbs exposes the inner life—pride, falsehood, justice, and compassion—while Jesus teaches that His true family consists of those who hear the Word of God and do it. Drawing on the wisdom of Chrysostom, Augustine, Ambrose, and Gregory the Great, this episode examines how interior conversion, mercy, and obedience shape the spiritual life. Learn how to cultivate a heart aligned with God, respond to the cry of the poor, and live as Christ’s kin in the spirit of St. Columba and the Celtic monastic tradition.
