In this podcast, you will find….a SAFE place, a Christian perspective on tough topics, and someone who will shoot straight with you. My mission is to point you back to God, help you take the next right step on your journey, and introduce people, tools and resources to help you right where you are. If you’re ready to take just one little step, I will come alongside shining a light for you to keep moving forward Hi, I’m Terry.  Wife, mother, grandmother, artist, scientist and Bible teacher.  I was wounded!  A wound that was too big, too much!  God knew, and pulled me really close.  He told me “the truth would set me free”.  He was gracious and patient as he walked with me to healing. I tried to carry all of my hurt alone for over a decade!  I was overwhelmed, struggling, and exhausted. I finally realized I had to get help.  I had to talk about what was going on in my life.  I had to trust others to speak into my pain, to help me release the burden I was carrying.  I had to take one step at a time to the life God intended for me. I focused on what I needed.  I found safe people who could help me heal.  My relationships healed and I learned about me, the woman God created. If you’re ready to stop doing life alone, to let God direct your journey, and to release that burden you’ve been carrying….this podcast is for you!    47 | Four steps to Healthy Boundaries

   In today's episode, Terry shares practical information about how to establish healthy boundaries.  She reminds listeners that boundaries are about keeping yourself safe, not about trying to control others' behaviors. Four key principles of setting boundaries: 1.  Healthy boundaries are NOT walls 2.  Healthy boundaries are NOT "fair", they may cost YOU something 3.  You must accept total responsibility for maintaining your healthy boundaries 4.  Boundaries are unique to you and your situation.
