Episode #35: Single, Saved, and Satisfied Until God Sends Him
Are you single and focused on finding your future spouse, praying for marriage, or looking for a romantic partner? If so, you may be missing the benefits, purpose, and importance of singleness.
In today’s episode, we will learn that singleness is an opportunity to cultivate a healthy spiritual life that looks toward the future, not just the present. Looking to marriage to accomplish something it cannot do, namely, fix broken or incomplete selves, is not Kingdom living.
Kingdom singles may want to be married, but the difference is that a Kingdom single does not need to be married to be complete or whole. She is made complete and whole in Christ (Colossians 2:10).
As singles, our focus should be on contentment in Christ, not marriage. We have a unique opportunity to serve Christ wholeheartedly while waiting on God to send a mate.

Today’s episode will encourage us to embrace every season of life as an opportunity to care for our church leaders and those around us. We should never become completely satisfied with earthly pursuits. Instead, we should develop a spiritual thirst that can only be satisfied by seeking God.
Without Him, life is ultimately empty. With Him, we discover the fullness and purpose of life in Christ.

Regardless of how or why the wreckage was caused, you have hope because of Christ, the Master Restorer (John 10:10).
