为什么姜太公要用直钩钓鱼？
<p>传说商朝末期，渭水流域的一条小溪边有一个白发老人在溪边钓鱼。可是他的鱼钩却是直的，也没有挂上鱼饵，而且鱼钩还悬在水面三尺以上的地方。那老人一边钓鱼，一边自言自语道：“宁向直中取，不向曲中求。只钓王与侯，不钓水中鱼。”此人就是姜尚，亦称“姜太公”。一天，周文王带着随从路过渭水，看到那个垂钓老人对大队人马过去一点也不在意，文王感到很奇怪，就下车和他攀谈起来。周文王在和姜尚的谈话中，发现他是一个眼光远大、学问渊博的人，而且精通政治、经济、军事。周文王于是立他为国相，辅助他夺取天下。而姜太公用直钩钓鱼的故事也就流传开来了。<br /></p>

为什么孟母三次搬家
<p>孟子又叫孟轲，是我国历史上著名的思想家、教育家。他自幼父亲早亡，母亲靠纺纱织布维持生活。小孟轲十分淘气贪玩，孟母眼瞅着孟轲和那些淘气的孩子玩耍而耽误了学业，便决定搬家。可是，新搬的地方隔壁是个铁匠铺，小孟轲又学着铁匠玩起打铁来了。于是，孟母再次搬到了郊外的荒野之处。恰逢清明节，荒野里来了许多上坟扫墓的人。小孟轲又学着大人的样子上坟扫墓。孟母又第三次搬家到了一所学校边上，将儿子送进学校拜师读书。可是小孟轲又逃学了。孟母将儿子拖到织布机旁，拿把剪刀“咔嚓”将自己织的布剪断了，说：“不肯读书的人将来长大了就和这剪断的布一样，是无用的东西！”小孟轲幡然悔悟，明白了母亲多次搬家的良苦用心，从此发愤读书，心无旁鹜，终于成为我国历史上著名的大学问家，被世人尊称为孟子。<br /></p><span><br /></span>

为什么大禹能够治水成功？
<p>传说古时候中原地带常闹水灾，尧帝就命令鲧去治水。鲧只知道筑堤挡水，结果洪水仍然泛滥。舜继承了尧的帝位以后，决定任命鲧的儿子禹主管治水工程。于是禹就出发治水去了。他背着测量用的工具，登高山、立标志、跑九州、测地形，不顾雨雪泥泞，日日夜夜奔走在治水工地上。他三次路过自己的家门，都没有进去看一下自己的妻子和儿子。就这样他历尽辛苦，殚精竭虑地工作了整整十三个年头，带领百姓开辟了九州的道路，疏通了九条大河，整治了九片大泽，凿通了九座大山，终于治好了洪水，安定了九州，使原来洪水泛滥的地方成了鱼米之乡。禹治理好了洪水，立了大功，但他不居功自傲，还帮舜创作了名叫“九韶”的乐曲，用以体察政治，宣扬礼仪。舜对禹的品德和能力十分满意，于是就决定让他来继承部落首领的位置。<br /></p><p>大禹治水<br /></p>
