   The Feast

Parables like that of the wedding banquet found in Matthew 22:1-14 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matt%2022%3A1-14&version=NIV) can leave us feeling uncomfortable or confused. What are we to make of Jesus’ teaching that can seem disorienting, harsh, or exclusive? Pastor Jordan Kologe helps us understand the significance of this parable and hear the invitation of a loving, generous God.

Show Me Your Ways, O Lord, Teach Me Your Paths

Psalm 25 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=psalm%2025&version=ESV) is an instructional poem, one that has been written specifically to teach people how to pray. The psalmist wants us to understand that instruction is important for the practice of prayer and our continued salvation. The life of prayer is incomplete unless there are pleas that ask "Teach me, instruct me, guide me, make known to me the way I am to go." Deacon Cindy Hamilton guides us in praying the Psalms.

   Welcome Home

The Parable of the Two Sons (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2015%3A11-32%20&version=NIV) teaches us of a Father who is always love and ever bids his wandering children to come home. On this child-led Sunday, Pastor Jordan Kologe reminds us of the extravagant love of God for his children.
