At the Table | Contending for Community for the Common Good | Gareth Bailey
Good morning family!
This week at City on a Hill Church, we’re looking at what it means to build a community that reflects the heart of Jesus.
Our message, “Contending for Community for the Common Good,” takes us into Acts 2:42–47, where we see a beautiful picture of the early church — devoted to God’s Word, fellowship, breaking bread, prayer, generosity, and life together.
True community doesn’t happen by accident. It requires courage to connect, a willingness to contend for relationships, a conviction to contribute, and a commitment to the Great Commission.
We were created for connection and called to connect. The question is: Are you waiting to be invited, or are you willing to invite? Are you waiting to be included, or are you willing to include?
As we discover what healthy Gospel community looks like, we’ll be challenged to move beyond simply attending church and become people who gather, grow, go, and make room for others.

At the Table | Table of Transformation | Dallon Moodley
Good morning family!
Join us as we continue our *At the Table* series with a powerful message from *Luke 19:1–10* — *The Table of Transformation.*
This week, we journey with Zacchaeus, a man who was searching for Jesus but never expected that Jesus was searching for him too. His encounter with Jesus reminds us that transformation begins when we **seek Him, accept His invitation, and allow Him to change us from the inside out.**
No matter how messy, empty, or broken your table may look, Jesus still wants to meet you there. One genuine encounter with Jesus can change everything.
As we gather around the table, ask yourself:
Am I seeking Jesus daily?
Have I accepted His invitation?
Is my encounter with Jesus producing real transformation?
Am I joining His mission to seek and save the lost?
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” — *Luke 19:10*
*Join us for this powerful message and discover how Jesus transforms lives through His invitation to the table.*
