The Writings of John (Part 26) // (Revelation 3:14-22) - Ps. Tiffany Townsend
In this message, we unpack Revelation 3:14–22 and Jesus’ sobering words to the church in Laodicea. Surrounded by wealth, banking, fine clothing, and medical knowledge, they believed they needed nothing. Yet Jesus described them as spiritually poor, blind, and naked. Drawing from the city’s lukewarm water supply, Jesus confronts a faith that professes His name but remains unsubmitted, undiscipled, and ultimately useless for His purposes.
Yet the correction of Jesus is an expression of His love. He calls His people to earnest repentance, true spiritual sight, and complete surrender to His lordship. Standing at the door and knocking, Jesus invites us into genuine fellowship with Him. This message challenges us to move beyond consumer Christianity and empty profession into biblical faith marked by discipleship, obedience, transformation, and usefulness to Jesus.

The Writings Of John (Part 25) // (Revelation 3:7-13) - Ps. Tiffany Townsend
In this message, we unpack Revelation 3:7–13 and Jesus’ encouragement to the faithful church in Philadelphia. Although they had little strength, they obeyed His Word, refused to deny His name, and persevered through opposition. Jesus alone holds the key of David, and when He opens a door for the Gospel, no person or power can close it. Their story reminds us that faithfulness is not determined by our size, strength, or resources, but by our obedience to Christ.
Jesus calls His people to hold firmly to what they have until He returns. This message challenges us to treasure God’s Word, remain true to the biblical Gospel, and live fully surrendered to the lordship of Jesus. Those who persevere belong to Him and can stand confidently in the hope of His protection, His Kingdom, and His promised return.

The Writings of John (Part 24) // (1 John 2:18-25) - Ps. Jason Townsend
In this message, we unpack 1 John 2:18–25 and John’s urgent call for believers to grow in biblical discernment. Deception does not always openly oppose Christianity. Sometimes it uses Christian language, spiritual experiences, and even the name of Jesus while presenting a different Christ and a different gospel. Biblical discernment is not suspicion or an obsession with darkness. It is the Spirit-enabled ability to recognize truth and error by knowing Jesus, His voice, and His Word.
John’s answer to deception is simple: remain. Stay rooted in the apostolic Gospel, the biblical Jesus, and the truth received from the beginning. Jesus Christ is our only foundation, and cracks in what we believe about Him will eventually affect everything we build. This message calls us to reject counterfeit teaching, mature in discernment, and remain in fellowship with the Son and the Father.
