What Is the Gospel? We May Have Gotten It Wrong

What exactly is the Gospel? Why do most Christians get it wrong? We need Gospel Clarity. In Week 4 of the King’s Truth Teller Society Field Manual, Jeremy and Greg focus on biblical evangelism, stepping back and tracing the Gospel through the whole biblical story: creation, the image of God, the Fall, sin and God’s Law, Christ’s incarnation, death, resurrection, ascension and reign, and God’s command that all people repent and believe. We’ll also address common misconceptions such as “ask Jesus into your heart,” reducing Christianity to self-improvement, separating the Gospel from the Old Testament, and confusing an evangelism method with the Gospel itself. You’ll also hear the remarkable story of 15-year-old Charles Spurgeon and the ordinary lay preacher whose simple proclamation of Scripture changed his life. FIELD ORDERS: Build confidence in sharing the Faith. Stay through the end and practice explaining the Gospel clearly in your own words—then take that message to someone else. If you’re just joining us, these episodes are designed to stand alone while also building upon one another. Start with Week 1 in the King’s Truth Teller Society Field Manual playlist and work through the series at your own pace. Stand firm. Speak truth. Proclaim Christ. Make Disciples! Why Christians Keep Surrendering to a Godless Culture

What happens when Christians stop treating God’s Word as the final authority? They surrender to a Godless Culture. In Week 3 of the King’s Truth Teller Society Field Manual, Jeremy and Greg examine the battle over authority from Genesis 3 to the modern world. From Satan’s question, “Did God really say?”, to Martin Luther’s stand on Sola Scriptura, to the pressures of worldly culture, politics, science, identity, and personal autonomy, the same question remains: Who gets the final word? When Christians begin sidelining Scripture, other authorities quickly take its place. Culture begins shaping our morality, convictions weaken, fear of man increases, and eventually Christians can become reluctant to stand for biblical truth or faithfully proclaim the Gospel. In this episode, we discuss: - The authority of Scripture - Genesis 3 and “Did God really say?” - Martin Luther and the Diet of Worms - Sola Scriptura - The Enlightenment and human autonomy - Worldly culture versus biblical truth - Christian polling on biblical authority - Creation, evolution, and the authority question - Why biblical authority matters for evangelism Book Recommendations: - The Sin of Empathy, by Joe Rigney: https://a.co/d/0cUJ2bSE - The Importance of Genesis to the Christian, the Church, and the World, by Dr. Jason Lisle: https://biblicalscienceinstitute.com/shop/the-importance-of-genesis/ - God's Law and Its Modern Application, by Dr. Jason Lisle: https://biblicalscienceinstitute.com/shop/gods-law-and-its-modern-application/ - The Mission of God, by Dr. Joseph Boot: https://ezrapress.ca/products/the-mission-of-god Watch The Video Podcast: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQFb6tgaeW8k&si=wlIVxgXlqOWVEk5X The challenge for this week is simple: If Scripture disagrees with you, which one changes? Stand firm. Think biblically. Speak truth. Proclaim the Gospel. #BiblicalAuthority #SolaScriptura #ChristianWorldview

Why Christians Stay Silent When It Matters Most

Fear of man can silence even the boldest Christian. Peter denied Jesus three times—but after Christ restored him, we see a radically different Peter standing before rulers and declaring, “We must obey God rather than men.” Yet Galatians 2 shows us something important: Peter’s battle with the fear of man wasn’t simply gone forever. In Week 2 of the King’s Truth Teller Society Field Manual, Jeremy and Greg examine Peter’s denial, restoration, courage in Acts, and later confrontation with Paul to answer a question every Christian needs to face: **What does it actually take to become courageous in a culture that pressures us to remain silent?** We discuss: * Peter’s denial of Christ * Jesus restoring Peter * Peter’s boldness in Acts 4–5 * “We must obey God rather than men” * Peter’s failure in Galatians 2 * Why fear of man can return * How Christians develop biblical courage * Why faithful gospel proclamation requires practice, not merely information The goal isn’t pretending you’ll never be afraid. The goal is learning to obey Christ when you are. This is Week 2 of the **King’s Truth Teller Society Field Manual**, a 52-week journey designed to move Christians from spectatorship, fear, compromise, and complacency toward biblical confidence, courage, faithful evangelism, and multiplication. Subscribe and follow the series as we learn to **stand boldly in biblical truth and faithfully proclaim the Gospel.** #ChristianEvangelism #FearOfMan #ChristianCourage
