Life is messy, complicated, and wonderfully imperfect. Each week, this podcast transforms everyday confusion into fresh insight by putting common dilemmas into the Perspective Lab—a playful yet structured approach to finding clarity, optimism, and new possibilities. Join me in exploring familiar scenarios, testing practical strategies, and discovering clear perspectives that make life a little brighter.
Because clarity isn't always about having all the answers—sometimes, it’s simply about changing how you look at the questions.
Don't be difficult. That's the rule, apparently.
Don't complain. Don't ask too many questions. Don't make things complicated. Just smile, nod, and be a delight to everyone around you.
Easy enough. Until it isn't.
This week on Clairity, we're questioning what it actually means to be difficult. From the people who turn a simple dinner plan into international negotiations to those of us who say "it's fine" when it absolutely isn't.
Why are we so afraid of disappointing people? When does being easygoing become people-pleasing? And why can simply saying no make us feel like we've committed a social crime?
We're also looking at the expectations we place on each other, the extra pressure women can face to be agreeable, and the uncomfortable possibility that sometimes... we really are being difficult.
Because being inconvenient isn't the same as being unreasonable. And being agreeable isn't always the same as being kind.
So, when was the last time you were called difficult, and looking back, were you?

Good Friends, Stay Friends
Good friends stay friends. That's the rule, apparently.
But what about the people who once knew absolutely everything about you and now barely know what you're doing on a Tuesday?
Welcome to the friendship graveyard. Nobody died. We just... stopped being friends.
This week on Clairity, we're digging into the strange grief of friendships that fade, the guilt of no longer wanting someone in your life, and the sting of realising someone might feel the same way about you.
Why do we need someone to be the villain when a friendship ends? Are we growing apart, or just avoiding the effort? And can you still be a good friend when you decide to let go?
Because maybe the real question isn't whether good friends stay friends forever, but what being a good friend actually means.

S03EP1 - You Should Have a Plan
You should have a plan. A five-year plan. A career plan. A relationship plan. A financial plan. Ideally, a neat little answer for where your life is going.
Except… what if you don’t?
In the first episode of Season 3, we unpack one of adulthood’s most persistent unwritten rules: that having a plan means you have your life together. I look back at my own spectacularly non-linear route through studies, careers, countries and abandoned plans, and ask how much of the life I actually like came from planning, and how much came from things going completely sideways.
Because maybe the problem isn’t having a plan. Maybe it’s expecting the plan to prove we’re going in the right direction.
What are you still pretending you should have figured out by now? Tell me at call.clairity@gmail.com (mailto:call.clairity@gmail.com) or DM @ClairityPod on Instagram. I want to hear yours.
