A media analysis podcast in which hosts Allison and Julia discuss modern media (including TV & film, books, and music) that depicts the Ancient Mediterranean world, its peoples, and its stories. We're here to have a good time, not to nitpick accuracy, but we've got a thing or two to teach, too.
In this episode, we discuss the film The Odyssey (2026), dir. Christopher Nolan. The movie of the summer! In this one, we talk production ethics, Tumblr literary theory, and Sea Peoples.

Episode Twenty: Ancient Apocalypse
In this exceptionally lengthy episode, we break down a single episode of Ancient Apocalypse, the Netflix docuseries hosted by Graham Hancock. Suffice to say we did not enjoy it. Featuring carbon dating, the myth of the flood, Star Guy, and a whole lot of made up bullshit.
