When Your Identity Feels Unclear, You’re Not Failing. You’re Transforming.
Today I’m sharing a message I recorded in the car while the kids were napping. I had just launched my new website, and it opened up a deeper reflection I’ve been having lately about identity and why so many of us feel lost, unclear, or “behind.”
If you’re moving, changing careers, becoming a parent, or simply evolving as a human… your identity is evolving too. And that messy, gray space where nothing feels defined is not a sign that you’re struggling. It’s a sign that transformation is happening.
In this episode I talk about:
Why identity shifts feel uncomfortable but are completely normal
How life transitions (big or small) trigger inner evolution
Why confusion is often just growth we haven’t named yet
How to stop treating yourself like you’re failing when you’re actually becoming
Why slowing down and creating space is essential for clarity
How surrender and self-compassion unlock the next version of you
If you’re in a season of change and you’re being hard on yourself because you “should have it figured out,” this conversation will bring relief. You’re not lost. You’re rebuilding. You’re re-rooting. You’re rising.
You can also explore the new website and join the waitlist for the upcoming SHE Summit program at ClaudiaChan.com.
Sending love to you, wherever you are on your becoming journey.

Your Family Is Your First Leadership Classroom
Today’s Wholeness message is one I wish more people understood. We work so hard trying to become better leaders in our companies, our communities, and our careers, but the greatest training ground for leadership is actually our family life.
In this episode, I share how the little everyday moments at home shape who we are as leaders. The spilled milk, the rushed evenings, the moments we snap when we’re tired, the patterns that repeat all of it is an invitation to pause, reflect, and grow.
I talk about how to:
Notice the situations that trigger you
Anticipate them the way you would in a workplace
Use reflection to understand the real pattern underneath the conflict
Practice inclusive leadership with the people you love most
Listen in a way that helps others feel understood instead of rushing to speak
Whether you’re a parent, a partner, a sibling, or a child, you are leading every single day. Your home is shaping your character, your emotional intelligence, and your capacity to create belonging.
If you’ve been wanting to feel more grounded, more patient, and more aligned in how you show up, this episode will feel like a deep breath.
