My name is Ben, AKA Coach Dad! I am now into my 3rd season of coaching a grassrootes football team. Just a dad who has stepped up and taken over the hot seat with zero experience! I've been documenting my journey over the last 2 seasons and now embarking on my 3rd! I get into some of the major topics and issues and hopefully speak to like minded people along the way. With so many interesting topics there really is so much to get stuck into and I hope you can join me!
This week I take a look my teams 2 games and how we did. One was a local "derby" and was a cracking game
I look at my upcoming fixture, a cup game. Do we rotate the team or stay strong
I alos take a look at sqaud size. What is the ideal squad size? Does one size fit all?
We've taken on another player and it's given me selection issues.
I'll talk about how I hope to overcome the issues of having a deep squad.
