Episode 58 - 🎤 American Hustle Life: Was It Really as Bad as ARMY Remembers?
Before watching BTS American Hustle Life, we thought we knew what we were getting into.
The staged kidnapping. The uncomfortable moments. The stories of BTS being mistreated. A series that many ARMY would rather forget.
But then we actually watched all eight episodes.
And… it was NOTHING like we expected.
This week on Coffee & Comebacks, we're talking about the good, the bad, the awkward and the downright hilarious moments from BTS's 2014 trip to Los Angeles.
We talk about the moments that genuinely made us uncomfortable, but also the mentors who surprised us—including Tony Jones, Nate Walka, Coolio and Warren G—and the lessons that went far beyond learning about hip-hop.
From writing their own stories over Warren G's “Regulate,” approaching girls for a music video and working ordinary jobs, to conversations on Skid Row and their final concert in Los Angeles, we started seeing American Hustle Life very differently.
And knowing the BTS we know today makes some moments even better.
