Guided Journey into the Womb Tomb of Mother Earth

In the season of thinning veils and sacred transitions, when the earth herself begins her descent into rest, we offer you this gift: a guided shamanic journey into the womb tomb of Mother Earth. This isn't just a meditation—it's a portal. A threshold experience guided by the ancient goddesses Ceridwen and Brigid, keepers of death and rebirth, darkness and returning light. Amy leads you deep beneath the forest floor, past the roots of an ancient oak, into the clay womb of the earth herself where you can finally let go, release what's ready to die, and be held in the most profound way. Here, in this sacred darkness, you don't have to hold yourself together. You don't have to know what comes next. You simply rest. You allow the earth to feed you, nourish you, regenerate every withered and weary part of you. And when you're ready—when your body remembers its own vitality—you journey back, reborn. This 19-minute shamanic journey is perfect for: Times of deep exhaustion or burnout Releasing what no longer serves Connecting with cyclical wisdom Preparing for winter's introspection Anyone craving deep, restorative rest Create sacred space. Light a candle. Wrap yourself in something cozy. And let yourself be held by the earth that has been holding all of us since the beginning of time. Best experienced lying down or seated comfortably. Not for use while driving or operating machinery. Disruption, Mystery, Rebirth: Welcome to Season Two

What happens when everything you thought was solid begins to shake? When the path ahead disappears into mist and all you can do is trust? Welcome back to Coffee Date With Spirit. After a transformative summer apart, hosts Kristen Forno and Amy Potter reunite with a conversation that feels like medicine for these times. As they settle in with their oracle cards and that first sip of coffee, something beautiful emerges: a message about navigating the beautiful chaos of transformation when you can't see what's coming next. This Season 2 premiere explores the sacred space between what's falling apart and what's being born. Kristen and Amy weave together personal revelations about their summer journey.s, including creative awakenings, spiritual deepening, and the ongoing dance of being spirit-led when the destination remains beautifully unclear. Their conversation touches upon collective upheaval, the wisdom of cycles, and why sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is retreat into rest. Not surprisingly, the cards they pull speak directly to this moment. Not just for them, but perhaps for you too. If you're in the thick of change, if you're wondering whether you're on the right path, or if you're simply craving an authentic conversation about the mystical dimensions of everyday life—pull up a chair. This one's for you. Plus, they've gifted listeners a bonus shamanic journey meditation for deep rest and regeneration. Because sometimes you need to descend before you can rise. For spiritual seekers, intuitives, and anyone who knows that the most profound transformations often look like chaos before they look like magic. www.coffeedatewithspirit.com (http://www.coffeedatewithspirit.com) KRISTEN FORNO www.instagram.com/lifethreading (http://www.instagram.com/lifethreading) AMY POTTER www.fromtheearthcreative.com (http://www.fromtheearthcreative.com) Episode Notes + Key Timestamps: [00:00:00] - Opening & Welcome back after summer break [00:01:21] - Card Pull: Setting intentions for the episode [00:02:00] - Card reveal and meanings from Wisdom of Avalon deck [00:07:00] - Collective disruption we're all experiencing [00:08:19] - The challenge and beauty of being spirit-led [00:11:01] - Reiki calling and becoming a teacher [00:27:00] - The Daily Ground and creative breakthrough [00:51:43] - Bonus journey revealed [00:52:57] - Closing card reveal and meanings [00:55:00] - Aligning with the mystery of spirit as source of creativity [00:56:30] - Seasonal extremes and surrendering to natural cycles [00:57:15] - New monthly episode rhythm announcement

You Are the Medicine: Susan Hough & Sobonfu's Legacy

Join hosts Kristen Forno and Amy Potter as they welcome Susan Hough, author of "Walking With Sobonfu" and founder of the Walking for Water project. Susan shares her transformative 25-year journey working alongside Sobonfu Somé, a powerful teacher from the Dagara tribe of West Africa who brought ancient indigenous rituals to the modern world. In this deeply moving conversation, Susan reveals how a simple phone call to a stranger changed her life forever, leading to profound friendships, spiritual awakening, and a mission that has brought clean water to 55 communities worldwide. Learn about the sacred art of welcoming—a daily practice that transforms how we greet ourselves, others, and each moment. Discover the power of the Dagara medicine wheel and how the five elements (fire, water, earth, minerals, and nature) can guide your daily life and spiritual practice. Susan shares intimate stories from Burkina Faso, including the life-changing welcome ceremony she experienced in Sobonfu's village, and explains why grief rituals are essential for community healing. From the milk and honey ritual for releasing what no longer serves to creating elemental shrines in your home, this episode is packed with practical wisdom for bringing the sacred into everyday life. Susan also discusses her current mission connecting young people to humanitarian work through the Walking for Water project, proving that ancient wisdom can address modern challenges.
