What I enjoyed was that she is:
She was a Visual Arts Therapist, An ADA Therapist, that turned to her hidden talent of fixing things.
She is her father’s daughter. Learned from her dad and uses his tools at times. That resonated with me. How important it is to have a mentor and how it can affect your child’s life indefinitely.
Her attitude was: just do it and it can always be fixed. All mistakes can be fixed.
When designing a space….you don’t have to have figured out everything. Start with something you love, a piece of furniture or wall paper and then build around that.
Lastly, you don’t have to start and finish the project immediately. Sometimes great to let it simmer, sit with it a while until you realize how you will use the space.
