Real conversations. Raw truths. Lasting change.
Coffee with Mailette is where psychology, subconscious rewiring, nervous system regulation, and real life collide. Every episode helps you question old stories, regulate your mind and body, and build a life and business that actually feels aligned. No fluff. No pretending. Just honest conversations that leave you thinking long after the coffee is gone.
In this episode of Coffee with Mailette, I open up about something I’ve been wrestling with—how hard it can be to make friends as an adult. Growing up as a Navy brat, then later moving across states, I’ve experienced both instant connection and deep loneliness.
From missing my “Norma-type” friend I could call any time, to navigating seasons of isolation in new places, I share my journey of craving authentic friendships—the kind where you can show up in your PJs, laugh until you cry, and be fully yourself.
If you’ve ever wondered why making friends feels harder as we get older, or if you’ve felt that ache for your “core people,” this conversation is for you. Let’s talk about expectations, red flags, and why connection means so much to our souls. And maybe, just maybe, start imagining new ways we can create community together—book clubs, walking groups, or even Zoom coffee dates.
Because one thing’s for sure: you’re not alone in this.

Ever felt like a fraud—even when you’re clearly crushing it? You’re not alone. In this episode, Mailette gets real about imposter syndrome: where it shows up, why it shows up, and how to move through it. From motherhood to entrepreneurship to stepping into new roles, we all wear the ”imposter” mask at times. But what if being an imposter just means you’re growing, expanding, and daring to be different? Tune in for a powerful reframe, a dose of encouragement, and permission to do the damn thing—messy, scared, and totally worthy.

Messy to Mastery
n this episode I talk about the idea of Messy to Mastery.
I have lived a good portion of my life trying to be perfect. Always having this fear of looking stupid in the background.
I’m living out this idea of messy to mastery right here on this podcast. I do not edit it to make it sound ”perfect”.
You will hear me trip over my words, repeat myself, say ”um” and ”you know”multiple times, but as I allow myself to be messy I will over time master public speaking. I will learn to annunciate my words better, stop using filler words, but I want you all to see that being ”messy” is ok. We all have to start somewhere and this is me starting.
