Com-X Connects: with Asif Khan from Parallels

In this episode of Com-X Connects, Nick Cross, Director of Sales and Marketing at Com-X, sat down with Asif Khan, Country Manager - MEA, India and Asia Pacific at Parallels, to explore a growing reality facing IT leaders: enterprise workspaces have become too complex to manage, too fragmented to secure, and too expensive to scale. As organisations continue to evolve across cloud, SaaS, legacy infrastructure and virtual desktops, the gap between what businesses need and what IT can deliver is widening. Asif frames the challenge simply: “Organisations are operating in increasingly complex IT environments with a mixture of cloud platforms, legacy systems, browser-based applications, and virtual desktops.” And as these environments evolve, so do the problems.

Com X Connects: Why Continuous Vulnerability Management Matters

In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, organisations are investing more than ever in cybersecurity measures to confront a sophisticated threat landscape. However, many still rely on outdated point-in-time assessments that fail to keep pace with the dynamic nature of their environments. In this Com-X Connects interview with our Co-Founder, Qui Truong, and Director of Sales and Marketing, Nick Cross, we explore how traditional security testing approaches leave ‘blind spots’ open, and why moving toward continuous validation and remediation is crucial for reducing real risk in today’s era of ever increasing and automated attacks. We dive deep into why old-school penetration tests and ceremonial annual audits simply aren’t enough, and how making security continuous can transform an organisation’s defensive posture and increase assurance to their resiliency from attacks

Com-X Connects: with David Dick from 2Steps

In today’s hybrid and distributed world, organisations invest heavily in platforms, infrastructure and security. Dashboards glow green. Systems appear healthy. Yet users still lose hours of productivity every day because something, somewhere, isn’t working the way it should. At Com-X, we see this pattern repeatedly. Too often, businesses are told everything is fine because a report says so — while the reality on the ground tells a very different story. This gap between perceived health and real-world experience is where productivity is lost, costs escalate, and confidence erodes. This disconnect between what IT sees and what users experience is exactly what 2Steps was created to solve. In a recent Com-X Connects interview, Nick Cross, Director of Sales and Marketing at Com-X, sat down with David Dick, Head of Customer Success at 2Steps, to explore how organisations can finally answer one deceptively simple, but business-critical question: can my users actually get their work done?

Com-X Connects: with Jason Jacobs from Microsoft

Jason Jacobs, former Partner Lead for Citrix across APAC and Asia at Microsoft, shares his perspective on the customer conversations he and his broader team are having around Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) - and the importance of considering the broader ecosystem and partner landscape when shaping a modern application delivery strategy. With Microsoft continuing to simplify technology and licensing options, Jason explores where Citrix fits within these discussions and how organisations should think beyond infrastructure alone to focus on user experience, security and operational scale. We ultimately arrive at the 'money question': when customers are modernising application delivery, what role does Citrix play alongside AVD - and how does Jason respond?

Com-X Connects: with David Commisso from CoreSenses

David Commisso, Director of Technology and Learning Innovation at CoreSenses - providers of the Arrowsmith Program - shares how the organisation had to rapidly pivot when the COVID-19 pandemic forced a fundamental shift in their teaching model to support remote learning through technology. With young students who require additional learning support, the transition needed to work seamlessly not only for students, but also for their families and teaching faculty. David reflects on the challenges of delivering a highly specialised, cognitive-focused program in a remote environment - and how Com-X partnered with CoreSenses to make that transition effective, secure and sustainable. From a consultative, education-first approach to designing technology that supported learning outcomes rather than disrupting them, David explains why Com-X’s ability to listen, adapt and deliver practical solutions proved so valuable to CoreSenses during a period of unprecedented change.

Com-X Connects: IGEL and the Future of Secure Endpoints: Why Organisations Are Rethinking the Operating System

In this podcast episode of Com-X Connects, we sit down with the global leadership team from IGEL – a company redefining what secure endpoints should look like. Joining Com-X’s Nick Cross in the studio: Darren Fields – VP UKI & International James Millington – VP Product & Solution Marketing Justin Thorogood – Area VP Channel UKI & APAC. Together, they unpack why traditional endpoint operating systems are no longer keeping pace with today’s cyber threats, and why organisations across healthcare, government, finance, manufacturing and critical infrastructure are shifting toward a secure-by-design, immutable operating system. As cybercrime grows into a $10.5 trillion global economy, organisations across healthcare, government, finance, manufacturing and utilities are being forced to rethink their approach to endpoints. Traditional operating systems, multiple agents and legacy security stacks are proving too complex, too slow and too easy for attackers to exploit. IGEL offers a different path: a secure-by-design, immutable OS with no local data, seamless user experience, and two-minute business continuity recovery. In this episode, we explore: Why data at the endpoint is one of the biggest risks in modern security How IGEL eliminates the attack surface with an immutable, Linux-based OS for up to 95% reduction in cyber risk The hidden business continuity gap most organisations never address How dual-boot and USB-boot recovery gets 100% of users online in minutes The rising cost of cybercrime and the impact on insurance and compliance How organisations save up to 75% of their endpoint budget Real-world stories from hospitals, utilities, manufacturers and casinos Why sustainability, hardware longevity and endpoint simplification now matter The future of Zero Trust and endpoint strategy. If you’re a CISO, CIO, IT leader, security architect or anyone responsible for protecting users and maintaining operational resilience, this conversation is packed with insights you can’t afford to miss.
