About Come Sit With Me

This a daily devotional Bible Study podcast and hopefully one of the best parts of our listener's day.  These devotionals will explore the Living Word of God as a marathon and not a sprint. We will take our time to sit and fellowship with God through His Word. We will go through the Holy Bible and take our time to gain an understanding of the Word of God.  Our first devotional Bible Study series will be Proverbs. Proverbs is not just a book of wise sayings but an example of what walking in Godly wisdom looks like. A conversation between King Solomon and his sons, we see how King Solomon lived according to the wisdom that he asked God for. Join us as we take some time to come and sit with God to deepen our fellowship with God the Father and God the Son through the guidance of God's Holy Spirit.

   We praise God for His faithfulness, His Grace, His Mercy, and His love that forgave our sins. But...we cannot pull the grace card everytime we want to sin or do things contrary to His Word. Yes God is just and faithful to forgive. Just meaning He is fair, faithful because He made a promise through His covenant with us through the blood of His dear Son Christ Jesus. But as Paul let us know in Romans 6:1 that God's forgiveness and goodness IS NOT AN EXCUSE TO SIN.
