In this one, I get into why some people are just naturally funny and the rest of us have to work for it. I break it down with two analogies I keep coming back to. Seeing the world through other people's eyes, and how quantum computers find a solution faster than regular ones.
Same idea with comedy. The more paths you see, the faster you get to the funny, until eventually the paths turn into patterns and you stop thinking about it. I also read three listener emails and coach them through it. One who freezes on stage, one who kills it online but not at the mic, and one who's starting comedy at 58. Fair warning, I don't think you can fully master your sense of humor. But that's the good news. Whatever you figure out is yours, and it never ends.

Creating Comedy Systems - Comedy Coach Podcast
If you want help building your own comedy system, head over to https://mannygaravito.com (https://mannygaravito.com) and let’s map it out together. In this episode, I break down what I call a Comedy System. A simple way to stop treating writing, stage time, and content like three separate jobs and make them feed each other instead. I walk you through how I accidentally built my own system during COVID, riffing on a live podcast, turning that into content, then taking it on stage and letting it get raw again, and how that loop slowly uncovered my comedy voice. We talk about results, obstacles, and finding that one repeatable action that solves more than one problem at a time, whether you’re a working comic, a content creator, or just someone looking to be hilarious in your group chats.
