Reviving Evangelism - What about the next generation?
In this episode, Chance and Pierce discuss the unique opportunities and challenges of working with the next generation. Pierce, a member of Gen Z, works closely with Gen Alpha, while Chance, a Millennial, works with Gen Z. Together, they explore the differences between these generations, the events and experiences that have shaped them, and what those differences mean for the church.
But this conversation goes beyond generational differences. Chance and Pierce discuss the importance of not only passing on our faith in Christ, but also cultivating a genuine zeal for evangelism in the next generation. Young people are often eager and willing to hear the truth and share it with their peers. Sometimes, what they need most is a faithful example to follow, practical direction, and someone willing to encourage them as they take those steps.
That discipleship begins at home and is strengthened by the church. As we invest time in young people, model faithful evangelism, and equip them to serve Christ, we can have confidence in what God can do through the next generation.
The future of the Lord’s church is bright—not because of the strength of any generation, but because Christ is faithful to build His church. Our responsibility is to faithfully equip the next generation to know Him, love Him, obey Him, and boldly proclaim His truth.

Reviving Evangelism - Leading from the front
In this episode, Jon, Chance, and Pierce continue their conversation on Reviving Evangelism by exploring the role of leadership in developing a culture of evangelism within the local congregation.
Building a culture of evangelism takes time, intentionality, and commitment. If a congregation wants to become a people who consistently share the good news of Jesus, it is crucial that its elders are united in that vision and lead the congregation toward it.
Together, we look at the biblical qualifications given for elders and consider how many of these same qualities are characteristics every Christian should strive to develop. Evangelism isn't simply a program led by a few people—it is a way of life for God's people.
Join us at the table as we continue our journey through Reviving Evangelism and explore what it looks like to prepare ourselves, our leaders, and our congregations to share the good news of Jesus.
