In this episode, Pastor Darrel teaches us that the fear of the Lord is more than being afraid of God; it is having deep reverence for Him and allowing His Word to guide our lives. It means recognising His holiness, living with an awareness of His presence, and putting God above the opinions of people.

THE FEAR OF THE LORD — THE FOUNDATION OF WISDOM, HOLINESS, AND A LIFE THAT PLEASES GOD
Scripture: Proverbs 9:10
In this message, Pastor Darrel teaches that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of true wisdom. While many people desire God’s blessings, promotion, financial breakthroughs, open doors, and answered prayers, true wisdom begins with honouring God and obeying His Word. Knowledge, wealth, and position mean little without godly character and integrity. Before asking God to change our circumstances, we must allow Him to transform our hearts and shape the way we live. The fear of the Lord calls us to live with reverence, holiness, and obedience, honouring God not only when others are watching but also when nobody sees us. Rather than judging others, we must allow God’s Word to examine our own hearts and lead us into a life that pleases Him.
