Unpacking the Climate Change Management Bill
In this episode, we unpack Zimbabwe's Climate Change Management Bill (HB 5, 2025), a proposed piece of legislation that will create a comprehensive framework for the country's response to climate change. Key objectives include mainstreaming climate change into all sectors, establishing a National Climate Fund, regulating emissions, facilitating low-carbon development, and aligning national law with the Constitution and international obligations.
