This podcast exists as a rolling stream of consciousness rants, reflections, random stories, and deep dives into whatever's on my mind, including Bitcoin, Nostr, and the weirdness of the world. No script, no filter...just a dude driving and thinking out loud. Tune in, zone out, and ride along.

Bitcoin is down more than 50% from October’s high and June was the worst month for ETF outflows in the product’s history. More than four billion dollars left the funds, most of it from BlackRock’s IBIT. This episode argues the sell-off wasn’t holders capitulating, it was renters leaving. The people who bought Bitcoin through a paper wrapper never had the keys, so the second the Fed turned hawkish they bailed. Meanwhile conviction buyers like Strategy and Strive were buying above the market price on purpose. The price got cut in half but the network never changed. Renters left, owners stayed, and that’s the whole story.

Bitcoin, Nostr, and the Quantum Problem
Washington just made quantum a national priority, and governments don’t scramble funding for science fair projects. This one walks through why quantum is a sovereignty story before it’s a tech story. Who’s positioned (IBM, Google, IonQ, the post-quantum security plays), where the durable money actually sits, and the part that should keep you up at night. Quantum doesn’t threaten proof of work. It threatens the signature layer. Your keys. Same problem hits Nostr, except there the keys secure your voice and your identity instead of your coins. The near-term defense isn’t exotic math. It’s hygiene. Fresh addresses, no reuse, treat key management like the first-class problem it is. Quantum isn’t just a threat. It’s a forcing function, and it’s about to test whether the decentralized world can keep its promises when the cryptographic floor starts moving.

Why the Brotherhood Keeps Finding Them
Why do veterans bond so hard, in life and especially in Bitcoin? Because humans were built for the tribe, not for comfort. The military rebuilds the tribe, then sends men home to “paradise” where nobody needs them. This episode connects the dots: the gap between the official story and ground truth that breeds permanent skeptics, the printed money that funds the war and robs the household, and why a money built on “don’t trust, verify” lands in a vet’s chest like cold water. Bitcoin gathers the exact people the crucible forges. Skeptics of authority, believers in proof, holders of the line. It’s not a financial community. For a lot of us, it’s coming home.
