Hidden Not Forgotten | Jeff Lynch

Have you ever felt overlooked, forgotten, or like nobody sees what you're doing? In this message, Hidden, Not Forgotten, we discover through the life of Obadiah in 1 Kings 18 that God sees our faithfulness—even when it happens behind the scenes. Obadiah served under one of Israel's most wicked kings, yet he remained faithful to God. While Jezebel sought to destroy the Lord's prophets, Obadiah risked his own life to hide 100 prophets in caves and provide them with food and water. His actions remind us that God can use us in difficult environments, that ordinary acts of service matter, and that faithfulness sometimes means taking the next step even when we're afraid. You may feel hidden, but God has not forgotten you. Whether you're caring for a loved one, praying for your children, serving when nobody notices, or facing a difficult conversation, your faithfulness matters. In this message, you'll be challenged to consider: - How God can use you right where you are - Why simple acts of service matter to Him - How to take a faithful step even when fear holds you back - Why God's grace is still available when you've struggled or fallen short Scripture: 1 Kings 18:3–16 Your next step: Who is one person you can love right where you are? What's one quiet act of service you can continue? What's one faithful step you need to take, even though you're afraid? Come Out of Hiding | Jeff Lynch

Have you been hiding? Sometimes life happens, and instead of stepping into the future God has for us, we retreat into a place of hiding. In Judges 6, Israel found themselves hiding because of the Midianites. Gideon was hiding in a winepress, afraid of what would happen if he was seen. But God met Gideon right there and called him something he couldn't yet see in himself: A mighty man of valor. God may be speaking the same thing to you today. You are not your past. You are not the worst decision you've ever made. You are not the mistakes you've committed. And you are not beyond repair. This message challenges us to take three steps: 1. Acknowledge what led you into hiding. 2. Repent and run back to God. 3. Start moving forward with faith that God is with you. The message is simple: It's time to come out of hiding. God has not forgotten you. He has not given up on you. There is forgiveness, hope, love, a future, and purpose waiting when you turn back toward Him. 00:00 – Opening Prayer 01:00 – The Game of Hide and Go Seek 03:00 – It's Time to Come Out of Hiding 04:00 – Judges 6: Israel in Hiding 06:00 – When Sin Leads Us Away From God 08:00 – Step 1: Acknowledge What Led You Into Hiding 09:00 – Getting Back Under God's Umbrella 11:00 – Stop Trying to Fix It Yourself 12:00 – Step 2: Repent and Run Back to God 13:00 – When You Cry Out to God 15:00 – Remember What God Has Done 17:00 – Stop Being Stubborn 19:00 – What True Repentance Looks Like 21:00 – God's Key to Freedom 23:00 – The Loneliness of Hiding 24:00 – Gideon Was Hiding Too 26:00 – Why Gideon Hid in the Winepress 27:00 – God Is With You 28:00 – God Sees What You Don't See 29:00 – You Are Not Your Past 30:00 – Run Back to God 31:00 – Step 3: Start Moving Forward 32:00 – Take Your First Step Out of Hiding
