In this episode of The Recap, Pastor Jay kicks off our brand new series Shine with a message that’s all about one thing: being a witness.
We all remember singing, “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine…” But how do we actually do that in real life? In Acts 1:8, Jesus said we’d receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us—not just for our own benefit, but so we can be witnesses to the world around us.
This week, Pastor Jay reminds us that evangelism starts at home. God gave us our families first—not as an afterthought, but as our first ministry.
✨ In this episode, you’ll hear:
• Why your story matters
• How to start sharing your faith with the people closest to you
• What it means to truly let your light shine
You don’t have to be perfect to be a witness—you just have to be willing.

THE RECAP - Episode 11 | Call Me Crazy - Week 7
In this episode of THE RECAP, Pastor Jay closes out our Call Me Crazy series with a powerful message: “Call me crazy, but we don’t serve a two-thirds God.”
Many believers fully embrace God the Father and celebrate God the Son, but when it comes to God the Holy Spirit, some pump the brakes. Whether due to misunderstanding, misrepresentation, or past experiences, too many people miss out on the fullness of who God is. But the Holy Spirit is not weird—people are weird. His role is to guide, convict, teach, help, and empower us to live out our faith!
Plus, Pastor Jay introduces our brand-new series, Shine, starting this Sunday. As we enter the Easter season, this series is all about letting your light shine and sharing your faith.
✨ In this episode, you’ll hear:
• Why we must embrace God in His fullness—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• The seven key roles of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
• A sneak peek at our new series, Shine, focusing on evangelism.
Call me crazy, but we need the fullness of God to live the life He’s called us to!

THE RECAP - Episode 10 | Call Me Crazy - Week 6
In this episode of The Recap, Pastor Jay unpacks Week 6 of Call Me Crazy with a message that challenges our priorities: “Call me crazy, but I’m committed.”
In a world that constantly pulls us in different directions—work, family, ministry, and more—it’s easy to lose sight of what should come first. But God has given us a clear order of commitments:
1️⃣ God first – Above everything else, our relationship with Him must come first.
2️⃣ Spouse second – Before work, before ministry, before anything else, if you’re married, your spouse is next.
3️⃣ Children & family – They come before your job, your hobbies, and even your ministry.
4️⃣ Ministry last – Serving is important, but it should never replace time with God or family.
God’s work will never replace time with God. When we get our priorities out of order, burnout happens. But when we align our commitments His way, we find balance and purpose.
✨ In this episode, you’ll hear:
• Why the order of our commitments matters.
• How keeping God first keeps everything else in place.
• A challenge to evaluate your priorities and make sure they align with Scripture.
Call me crazy, but getting your commitments in order changes everything.

THE RECAP - Episode 9 | Call Me Crazy - Week 5
In this episode of The Recap, Pastor Jay unpacks Week 5 of Call Me Crazy with a powerful challenge: “Call me crazy, but I won’t just take—I’ll give.”
Too often, people come to church with a consumer mindset—What can the church do for me? But Jesus set a different example. He didn’t come to be served—He came to serve. (Mark 10:45)
Using the illustration of a fork at every seat, Pastor Jay encouraged us to bring something to the table—our time, talents, and treasures—instead of just showing up to be fed. If we want to see lives changed and communities transformed, we have to do our part!
✨ In this episode, you’ll hear:
• Why serving is a core part of following Jesus.
• How God calls us to give from our time, talents, and treasures.
• A challenge to shift from consumer to contributor in the church.
Call me crazy, but we’re here to serve, not just receive!

THE RECAP - Episode 8 | Call Me Crazy - Week 4
In this episode of The Recap, Pastor Jay unpacks Week 4 of Call Me Crazy with a challenging message: “Call me crazy, but I’ll pray for my enemies.”
It’s easy to love those who love us back—but what about those who hurt us? The world says to hold grudges, get even, and repay evil with evil. But in Matthew 5, Jesus flips that mindset upside down: “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
Even on the cross, Jesus demonstrated this radical love when He prayed, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” If Jesus did it, we are called to do the same.
In this episode, you’ll hear:
• Why praying for your enemies is a command, not an option.
• How unforgiveness can keep you from true freedom.
• What it means to follow Jesus’ example of radical love.
Holding onto offense weighs you down, but choosing to love and pray for those who have hurt you brings healing. Call me crazy, but choosing forgiveness sets you free!

THE RECAP - Episode 7 | Call Me Crazy - Week 3
In this episode of THE RECAP, Pastor Jay dives into Week 3 of Call Me Crazy, with the powerful message: “Call me crazy, but I have peace in the storm.”
Storms in life are inevitable. We all face trials, hardships, and moments where we wonder, “God, do you even care?” The disciples felt the same way in Mark 4:35-41 when they panicked in the middle of a raging storm—while Jesus was asleep in the boat. But Jesus had already spoken His word: “We’re going to the other side.”
When storms hit, we have a choice: Do we let fear take over, or do we trust in His promise?
✨ In this episode, you’ll hear:
• Why storms are inevitable but fear doesn’t have to be.
• How Jesus’ word is more powerful than any storm we face.
• How to rest in His peace, even when it feels like He’s silent.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by life’s struggles, this episode is for you. Call me crazy, but we can have peace even in the middle of the storm!

The enemy doesn’t shackle us all at once; he builds the chainone link at a time—small compromises, hidden struggles, and unchecked burdens. Before we know it, we’re bound.
