Wendy Van Delden, on behalf of Waikanae Music Society, presents an hour long programme featuring the music and composers and artists in the next Waikanae Music Society Concert.
This month there is no upcoming concert to promote so here we have music that you are not very likely to hear on the Waikanae stage - the music of Latin America. In this show we hear traditional sounds of the Andes, Latin American composers, exhilarating Baroque church music and more. The 2027 season will be announced next month.

Piano for two, three, four or more hands
A six hand special inspired this episode. The Waikanae Music Society's next concert is a piano concert but one that is completely different. In todays programme as an opening, you are given an example of how a well-known piano solo can be skilfully re-arranged for three pianists on one piano - with a freedom and richness that can be added to an already beautiful work. Enjoy this unique programme today brought to you by the Waikanae Music Society.
