Diagnosed With Alzheimer’s — Now He’s Fighting Back & Educating Others | Mikke Pierson

After being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, longtime Malibu resident Mikke Pierson made a decision: he wasn’t going to hide from it. He was going to fight back, speak openly, and use his experience to help educate others. In this deeply personal conversation, Mikke opens up about the early signs he initially dismissed, the moment Alzheimer’s became a reality, and the many ways he is now approaching his diagnosis. He shares his personal experience exploring testing, heavy metals and detoxification, lifestyle changes, and different protocols as he searches for ways to support his health and fight the progression of the disease. Mikke also talks about his life in Malibu and something that has become especially important to him since his diagnosis: connection. When life gets difficult, it can be easy to withdraw — but Mikke believes that’s exactly when we need people the most. This is an honest and hopeful conversation about Alzheimer’s, taking action, staying connected, asking questions, and refusing to let a diagnosis define how you live your life.
