[…] And then we started to introduce some like grammar concepts because I was like, why does she need to know what a comma is if she can't read what's before and after it? totally and and really the point of language arts what is it the point is to help them communicate beautifully right and a large part of that probably the largest part is just reading beautiful stories to them and talking about it yeah and then they get the ear for beautiful language unfortunately so many kids in schools like parents you know who are having a hard homeschool day they might think oh I just put my kid back in school but in schools they're not reading beautiful literature they're not You know, learning how beautiful words go together, their taste for beauty is actually being dumbed down because they're not being exposed to beautiful literature, beautiful poetry, art, etc. […]
