Confessions of Generation X

About Confessions of Generation X

I am a Generation X'er. I rant and rave about culture and my past. I talk about stuff from the 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's, 2010's. Music, films, technology, TV, society, entertainment, psychology, sociology, anthropology, health, mental health, motivation, education, and being an artist.

   What A Day

This, I felt good about. I had a particularly busy Saturday. It wasn't bad, it was just non-stop, very busy. Many people like to relax on Saturday, and I do, too, but this Saturday in particular was busy. I think when I'm busy, in the zone, and then I go into music production mode, perhaps that flow extends into my composition. I'm not sure. Hard to say. Sometime you catch it, and sometimes you don't. I felt like I caught it today with this one.

   Filler-Down

Still keeping it funky. I like this one, but I don't love it. It might take a second to grow on me.

   Emergence

I'm finding my groove again. It's different from the past. I've been synthwaving since the start of the decade, basically. Now, after listening to a lot of Chris Joss, I've been reconnecting in a very honest way, with my love for funky grooves and elements, but still with trace elements of synthwave and my eastern guitar stylings.
