Google says that this mode has advanced reasoning capabilities and it's able to tackle complex mathematical signs and logic problems, some of which even advanced modes have found difficult to solve. This new mode seems to build on the existing Gemini 2.5 DeepThink variant, which already achieved gold medal standards in International Mathematical Olympiad and the International College Aid Programming Contest.
