Helping people find a better career, better life style, and better mind set. Not enough people are aware of the opportunities in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industries! There is NO OTHER industry that offers such a broad spectrum of career paths with such high probabilities of substantial wealth. While most people think of the industry as "boots and jeans" working for "slave wages". Very few people are aware that most skilled trades people make well over $100,000 per year. Most are also unaware of the project management and executive positions available through out the industry. Not to mention the golden opportunities to become an entrepreneur and your own boss! This podcast highlights all of these opportunities, the increasing demand, decreasing supply, advancement and effect of new technology, and more. […] The rest was history. And I was the first. Usually like the old school non-union guys are kind of like anti-union. Pops knew. I remember before I even got in, he always had talked about 550 and it being the dream. But it was hard if he didn't know anybody. Yeah. We have a sign-up process now that I've learned about. Every June you can sign up. Mm-hmm. I think we take 20, maybe 30 people a year, but there's a lot of people that sign up. There's a lot of people that want to get in, so you're fighting against thousands sometimes. That's important. A lot of people don't realize that to get into the union, you basically have this one time a year to sign up. […]
