After a long break, brother-sister team Matt and Kirsten are back with a very full Cool Our Jets episode. They catch up on the Winnipeg Jets’ six-game Pacific road trip, the return of key players like Lowry and Samberg, and why the second line continues to be a puzzle despite the brilliance of Jonathan Toews. They dig into Logan Stanley’s surprising turnaround, the ripple effect of getting the lineup healthy again, and how the parity of the NHL is off the hook.
Then it’s on to their signature segments, including a new lesson from Professor Pionk, a chaotic round of True North Treasures (in which Kirsten forgets the Winnipeg zoo exists), and a Beyond the Rink tour through the World Series, the Grey Cup in Winnipeg, and whether they would rather see England win the World Cup in July or the Jets hoist the Stanley Cup in June.

And the Season is Underway!
Brother-sister team, Matt Brough and Kirsten Schellenberg break down the Winnipeg Jets season opener, share some very deep “lessons with professor Pionk” and have a whole discussion on which theme music goes with professorship (should it be Harry Potter). We get into how great it was to see Toews, Kyle Connor’s hat-trick (please score 3 in every game!), and how we really wanted to be positive about Stanley but, well… I guess we’ll see on that front.
