Raising Kids Who Remember - Past-Life Memories, Intuition & the Mystery of Consciousness
What if children remember more about their journey into this life than we realize?
In this fascinating and deeply personal conversation, Julia Sahalie of Cosmic Birth connects with Megan to explore the extraordinary experiences her three sons have shared since early childhood. From memories of life before birth and choosing their mother to stories of other planets, past lives, and unusual intuitive experiences, their accounts raise profound questions about consciousness, memory, and the nature of our existence.
Megan shares the experiences that led her to listen more deeply to her children, including striking stories of apparent psychic perceptions, a difficult birth, and her son’s recollection of finding his way to her. Together, we explore what it might mean to welcome children's experiences with curiosity rather than dismissing them or imposing our own beliefs.
But this conversation reaches beyond past-life memories. We also explore the sacred and sometimes challenging journey of motherhood, the healing that can emerge through family relationships, the depth of grief and pregnancy loss, and our need to make room for the full range of human emotion. We reflect on the importance of nature, conscious parenting, honoring children's individuality, and creating environments where they feel safe to express who they are.
At its heart, this is a conversation about remembering—not only where we may have come from, but how we listen, love, heal, and support one another in this life.
In this episode, we explore:
Children's spontaneous memories of life before birth and possible past lives
Intuition, psychic experiences, and the mysteries of consciousness
The stories children share about choosing their parents and life purpose
Birth experiences and the profound bond between mother and child
Grief, pregnancy loss, and allowing ourselves to feel without bypassing our pain
Raising children with curiosity, freedom, connection to nature, and respect for their individuality
Why supporting mothers and creating nurturing environments matters for generations to come
