Cosmic Musings is a monthly astrology podcast hosted by professional astrologer, Cori Anne, that gives insight and breakdown to the upcoming astrological activity of the month. Each episode gives the upcoming transits in a straightforward way, while deep-diving into the most poignant transits of the week, detailing how to best work with the given astrological energy.
The astrology of September is…BANANAS. This month brings us a whole SIX planetary ingresses, a superior Mercury cazimi (domicile and exalted in Virgo, no less), an autumn equinox (bringing us into Libra season)…oh yeah, and our second eclipse season of 2025, our first eclipse season that takes place entirely across the Virgo-Pisces axis since this series started a year ago. No big deal.
The name of the game this September is confronting big change with a sense of adaptability. But I won’t jump the gun—listen to this month’s Cosmic Musings forecast to get the ENTIRE low-down.
I’m so excited to introduce you to this month’s guest astrologer, Sam Manzella! Sam Manzella (she/they) is a queer writer, astrologer, and multimedia journalist based in Brooklyn. (She's a Gemini, obviously.) Their astrology practice is rooted in the Hellenistic tradition. She is an astrology columnist for The Malin Journal and a former staff writer for STAR/CHILD, the astrology app for families. Sam's writing has appeared in dozens of print and online publications, including Them, Cosmopolitan, HuffPost, and more. Subscribe to her Substack, Astrology by Sam, for free weekly forecasts. I absolutely adore Sam and their practical, down to earth approach to accessible astrology.

Your Complete Guide to the Astrology of 2025: Part 2
Everything you need to know about what's happening in the cosmos next year!
It’s finally here…part 2 of your guide to the astrology of 2025! In this episode we take an in-depth look at the big picture—the greater cycles and historical patterns that 2025 is tied to through the cycles and rhythms of the outer planets. In 2025 ALL THREE outer planets will be in new signs (yes, technically Pluto will have already been in Aquarius, but that final ingress was within a year of Neptune and Uranus changing signs!). The last time all three outer planets changed signs within a year of each other was 1737, so it’s definitely no common occurrence.
In this episode I dive into each of the outer planets and what they’re doing in 2025, looking at historical parallels to previous eras of Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries, and Uranus in Gemini, as well as connections to greater cycles between planets, such as Neptune-Saturn cycles and Pluto-Uranus cycles. Scroll down for timestamps for each segment. And if you want to explore what’s going on for you on a personal level, my books are open for 1-on-1 year ahead readings where we will dig deep into what all of this means for you and how you can cultivate your path forward into 2025.
