Y’all… ya girl is turning 30! 🥹🎉
I honestly can’t believe I’m saying that. This milestone has made me pause and reflect on everything God has taught me through the highs, the heartbreaks, the prayers, the waiting seasons, the laughter, and the growth.
In this episode, I’m sharing 30 lessons I learned before turning 30—from faith and friendships to boundaries, purpose, healing, work, relationships, and becoming the woman God is calling me to be. Some lessons came gently, while others I had to learn the hard way. But every single one helped shape who I am today.
Whether you’re turning 18, 25, 30, 45, or 70 this year, I truly believe there’s something in this conversation for you. Wisdom doesn’t have an age limit.
After you listen, I’d love to hear from you! What’s one lesson you’ve learned before your current age? Share it in the comments or send me a message. Your lesson might be exactly what someone else needs to hear.
Grab your favorite drink, get comfortable, and let’s talk🩷

The Crash: When Love Turns Deadly
In this episode, I break down Netflix’s The Crash, the documentary surrounding the 2022 case of Mackenzie Shirilla and the deaths of Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan. I discuss why so many people believed from the beginning that this wasn’t an accident, the toxic dynamics between Dom and Mackenzie, the role her parents may have played through enabling and lack of accountability, and the emotional devastation experienced by the victims’ families. I also explore the psychology behind emotional manipulation, performative emotion, attachment issues, and what happens when untreated emotional instability collides with control, obsession, and rage.
Disclaimer: This episode is commentary and therapeutic analysis based on publicly available information and the documentary. It is not a clinical diagnosis of any individual.

Michael Jackson: Pain Behind the Genius
In this episode of Couch Therapy, I review the new Michael Jackson film through a clinical and cultural lens.
I explore the impact of childhood trauma, Michael’s complex relationship with his father and mother, and the emotional dynamics within the Jackson family—including his relationship with his brothers and his decision to leave the group.
We also unpack the public scrutiny he faced, the allegations, and how fame, identity, and isolation intersect.
This episode invites listeners to move beyond headlines and sit with the complexity of who Michael Jackson was—holding space for both his humanity and the conversations that surround his legacy.
